A very nice, two-story library interior. Lovely place for a law student to hit the books.

About JD Logic

JD Logic's Mission Statement

JD Logic was created to provide superior legal education to help more students achieve more during law school.  Students often feel overwhelmed, confused, intimidated, or demoralized by the law school experience.  At JD Logic, we believe all students can perform to their highest potential with effective organization, consistent encouragement, and improved teaching techniques. Our goal is to make law school more approachable and manageable so that all students can compete for law school success.  We are here to put your goals within reach.

The JD Logic website (jdlogic.org) is designed to be a hub of information for law school students.  Our videos and study materials aim to give students easily digestible versions of the legal doctrines or legal skills they are learning and to supplement the material they learn in class.  Our JD Logic Law School Journal is a source of articles that pertain specifically to law school skills and topics, but it also expands to other areas that students will find interesting and applicable to their legal studies.  As a lawyer, you will be a life-long student of the law; keeping up with the JD Logic Law School Journal is a great way to establish a habit of regularly reading about legal topics.

What We Don't Do

Taking Assessments: JD Logic tutors will never directly assist you in taking assessments (quizzes, tests, graded exercises).  Professors provide assessments to check what students (you) know about the topic.  A tutor can help students learn their material more efficiently and thoroughly, but ultimately, an assessment should reflect the student’s knowledge, not the tutor’s.

Paper Writing: Similarly, JD Logic is not a paper writing service.  Such a service would almost certainly violate your law school’s academic integrity policy.  A legal writing tutor will work closely with you on your legal writing projects (developing theories and ideas; refining the structure; making editing suggestions), but ultimately, the words must be those of the student.
